Truth has nothing to do with words, it can be likened to the moon. The finger can be likened to the words that point to the moon in the sky. Even though the finger is pointing to the moon, it is not the moon and therefore don't get lost in the doctrine but consider what resonates as the truth.
Universal truths transcends ethnicity, religion, culture, history and time. It is wisdom that withstands the test of time, truth creates an inner knowing and that all is well.
